Trade Waste Collections - Contract

Terms and Conditions of Supply

In terms of this agreement the following will apply:

• L&S Waste Limited will be referred to as the company
• Your company/business will be referred to as the hirer

Type of waste

• Only non hazardous compactable waste should be placed in the container, (The customer should telephone the company in case of any doubt regarding the waste and classification)
• No corrosive materials, liquids, oily or flammable waste may be placed in the container

Damage/loss

• The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage caused whilst the container is on hire, (we recommend an insurance value of £300)

Service

• In the event of unforeseen delays the company will endeavour to collect within 24 hours of any regular collection day
• Due to the multiple nature of collection the company will endeavour to leave a docket on the day of collection, however no signatures will be obtained
• Waste left for collection that is not placed in the container can be collected by prior arrangement and is chargeable (subject to quantity) as one additional load

Payment

• Payment terms are quarterly in advance by direct debit
• In the event that payment is not received then service will be suspended

Cancellation

• The customer may cancel the service(s) by giving 90 days notice in writing prior to the anniversary if the commencement of the contract
• The contract will automatically be renewed for 12 months on the anniversary date in the absence of any notice
